The University Computing Centre Limited (UCC Ltd) is a limited liability company wholly owned by the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). The Centre was transformed into a fully-fledged limited liability company, under the Companies Ordinance (Cap 212), in January 2001.

Currently UCC is governed by a board of directors appointed by the Vice Chancellor of UDSM.  UCC is an autonomous legal entity and it reports to shareholders (UDSM) through a board of directors at the annual general meeting. 

On a daily basis business operations are managed by the managing director who also serves as secretary to the board of directors.
