UCC participation in ICT Curriculum Development
This workshop that took place at UCC ltd. Head office from 1st August 2005 to 5th August 2005 was a follow-up workshop on the “Trainer of Trainers” workshop that first took place at Bombo hospital in Tanga between 16th – 18th September 2004 where a contract was signed tasking UCC Ltd. with Curriculum development. The Trainer of Trainers workshop is to impart skills on how to use ICT in Curriculum Development. Among the areas covered are Essentials of computers and Operating systems, word processing using Microsoft word, file and folder management using windows, presentations using PowerPoint, effective searching using Internet and also electronic communication using internet. On completion of the training, the curriculum will be implemented in Tanga region among Health workers, secondary school teachers and out-of-school youth. The curriculum was developed by UCC experts led by Alex Mkelemi and Osiah Mwaipape in collaboration with Mrs Mushi Kamuzora. Posted: 5th Aug 05 by joshua
