About Open Source Software Unit (OSSIU)

With its team of developers, the Open Source Software Innovation Unit is dedicated to creating Free Software development initiatives. OSSIU is involved with:

On a regular basis 'OSSIU' engages in the following trainings:

• FOSS Training: A busines models training conducted in partnership with FOSSA and InWent
• Mentored Interniship program: A six months program on FOSS software development skills for graduate and undergraduate students.
• Linux Proffesional Institute Certification: Training on  LPIL, i.e. Linux Administration
• Web Applications Development: Training on how to use PHP, Python, Java, MySQL and many others.
• Tailor made courses:  The unit also offeres varied tailor made course to suit your needs and requirements such as linux system administration, PHP programing, just to name a few.
